South Baldwin Farms has had a small family orchard for decades, but in 2015 began planting for commercial sales. From 2015 through 2018 we planted 38,000 fruit trees to establish our peach and apple orchard.
In 2020, we started a new expansion with apples that pushed that to nearly 100,000 trees over 70 acres. We pack our own fruit in our 11,000 square foot packhouse, which also includes 2400 sqft cooler space, cider processing line, and our farm store. We offer u-pick opportunities for cherries, blackberries, and pumpkins when in season as well as a more complete produce offering in our farm store.
We plant dwarf apple trees and utilize trellis to support and train trees to a narrow fruiting wall. This increases yields and quality while reducing harvest labor. We strive to use the land responsibly and provide quality fruit to the region. Look for our products in your local grocery store and farm stands.
