Lone Pine Farms is a generational family farm rooted in Northeast Kansas since the 1860s. For more than 150 years, our family has stewarded this land with a deep respect for hard work, faith, and community. As we welcomed the seventh generation in Fall 2025, we remain committed to preserving our agricultural heritage while continuing to evolve for the future. Our goal is to connect families back to the farm — to show where their food comes from, how it’s raised, and why it matters. We take pride in raising our livestock responsibly, caring for our land, and maintaining the traditions that have sustained our family for generations. When visitors come to Lone Pine Farms, we want them to experience more than a farm — we want them to experience a legacy.
Lone Pine Farms is a farrow-to-finish hog operation with an on-farm retail storefront. We raise our hogs from birth through market weight, ensuring quality care at every stage. Visitors will have the opportunity to view our hog facilities from designated areas and enjoy an informational hayride around the farm to learn about our history, livestock care practices, and day-to-day farm operations.
Guests will also have the chance to meet a very special member of our farm family — Lady, our pet pig. We’ve raised Lady since she was born a runt, and she now enjoys the full rural lifestyle as a well-loved, slightly spoiled farm celebrity. If she isn’t busy napping and soaking up the peaceful country life, visitors may even have the opportunity to give her a treat.
Our farm store will be open and fully stocked with our farm-raised pork products, along with beef, cheese, milk, ice cream, and locally made goods.
The local fire department will also be on site serving breakfast and lunch, making it a full community experience.
At Lone Pine Farms, we believe in transparency, quality, and building relationships — and we look forward to sharing that with every visitor who comes through our gates.
