Established in 2006, we are a first generation farm located in the heart of the Kansas River Valley in Douglas County, Kansas. A highly diversified and quickly growing agricultural operation run by first-generation farmers, Juniper Hill Farms is committed to raising high quality products in sustainable and environmentally friendly ways. We have a passion for organic and sustainable agricultural production, post-harvest handling, local food systems, and the economics of growing—and we work hard every day to share our passion with our community by hosting tours, speaking at events, participating in local and state agricultural organizations and training the next generation of young farmers.
We’ll have a large, shaded farm stand with fresh-harvested vegetables for sale; tractors, combine, fire engine and vegetable production equipment displayed in the yard; farm crew will be on hand to answer questions and provide tours of the grounds, greenhouse, and vegetable pack house as requested.
Visitors can stop for lunch at Juniper Hill with wood-fired pizzas and other tasty treats and beverages available through our farm restaurant, Juniper Hill Farm & Table. Food and bar service begin at 11. Check out our menu at juniperhillfarmtable.com
Explore orchards, native plant gardens, production fields, 6000’ greenhouse, wildlands, farm incubators, community garden, and observe a small flock of chicken and bee hives.
Kid-Friendly Activities
Ag Explorers for 4-8 year olds to get hands-on, harvest tomatoes, make art, and visit the chickens. Children are encouraged to explore every aspect of the farm, to touch, smell, and taste from the herb garden, and play on our wildland playground.
